Liz has been practicing therapy since 2013. She enjoys working with people with a variety of problems, including depression, anxiety, life stress, relationship problems, and low self-worth. Her approach in facilitating change is client-centered and warm but direct. She understands that her clients arrive with firsthand knowledge of their lives, but also that she brings expertise and an outside perspective that is essential for change. She aims to honor the role of the therapist and the client in the therapeutic process.
Liz finds that a balance of working on past and present is the best way to help clients. She understands that the past often shapes our current concerns and problems, and has a passion for helping people heal from past experiences that continue to affect them. She also enjoys helping clients learn ways to cope in the present and live value-driven lives.
